What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, store or share any personal data.

What stays on your device

Everything you type – your debts, budget, letters, contact log, key dates, quiz progress and certificate – is saved only on your own phone. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Deleting the app, or using the "Reset" option inside it, removes it completely.

Bank statement import

If you import a bank statement file, it is read on your device only. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Notifications

Key-date reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. No notification server is involved.

Purchases

The optional full-course unlock is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether the unlock has been bought.

Internet use

When online, the app fetches one small file (figures.json) from this website so that fees, limits and helpline numbers stay current. That request contains no personal information beyond what any web request carries (your IP address), which we do not log or store. The app also contains links to outside organisations such as GOV.UK, StepChange and Citizens Advice; their own privacy policies apply once you leave the app.

This website

This website has no adverts, analytics or tracking cookies. The budget calculator runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
